The Local Content Forum is a strategic platform organized by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to raise awareness of local content enablers, policies, and mechanisms, while connecting the public and private sectors. The forum brings together decision-makers, industry leaders, and investors to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and explore investment opportunities.
The challenge was to build an identity that reflects the forum’s role as a space that brings together decision-makers, industry leaders, and investors, while translating the concept of connection and engagement into a clear and flexible visual language that can be applied across different touchpoints.
The forum presented an opportunity to turn the idea of connection into a core element of the identity, allowing the symbol and visual system to express the relationships between people, organizations, and opportunities, while creating a unified presence that extends from the identity to the event experience.
The concept is built around: Category → Connect → Meet.

We began by understanding the nature of the forum and its role as a space that brings together different stakeholders around local content. From there, we focused on the concept of connection and engagement as the foundation for building an identity that reflects the nature of the forum and connects its concept with its name.

We translated the idea into a clear visual direction: a circle representing the category and community, with intersecting elements that embody connection and gathering. Through this composition, the symbol began to develop its own distinctive character, becoming a central point of convergence for the identity.

Once the symbol was established, we began developing the elements that would shape the forum’s personality—from typography and the supporting tagline to the color palette and visual pattern. The goal was to create a consistent feeling across all touchpoints while maintaining clarity and flexibility in application.

After building the visual system, we brought it to the forum’s real-world touchpoints—from screens and signage to informational materials, spaces, and event environments. The symbol, pattern, and colors became interconnected elements that express the identity consistently across both digital and physical environments.

In the final stage, we reviewed the identity’s presence across different applications and environments—from templates and printed materials to spaces and events—to ensure that the symbol, colors, and visual pattern remained consistent regardless of the application.

We transformed the idea of connection into an identity that moves with the forum—from the symbol to the space, and from the screen to the details of the experience—making the identity part of the moment where ideas and opportunities come together.
